Unconnected Mackereths
My long term quest is to identify the family origin(s). Due to the relative uniqueness of the name I naively assume that we must be related at some point. This has encouraged me to start a single name study.
This is very tedious but once in a while uncovers other families which may be of interest.
In general I will add these families as a link to their site.

His son Thomas (1789-1871) moved to the Scarborough area.
His son Edwin Horatio (1828-1916) is referred to in the link.
